MAPI issue

M

mobile

hello,

when I try to send any email with a right click or from another program
using OL 2003 sp2. I get a mapi error and it asks that I restart outlook. no
joy, does not do anything to resolve when restarted. I have re-installed
OL2003, run detect and repair. no joy, same thing

it is like it is missing a link to send the file, email or what have you
from any program or folder except OL 2003. when I send from OL 2003 via the
send and attach files method, no problems.

it is a problem across all other programs, I.e. efax, explorer, adobe
acrobat and so on, any ideas of how to resolve this issue. thank you

Verify the ClientProtocols key exists under the

key contains at least the following 5 default values:

. ncacn_http REG_SZ rpcrt4.dll
. ncacn_ip_tcp REG_SZ rpcrt4.dll
. ncacn_nb_tcp REG_SZ rpcrt4.dll
. ncacn_np REG_SZ rpcrt4.dll

i added that line in the registry. rebooted, no joy,

any other ideas, it may be that i have a corrput tcp issue as outline in one
of the many MS articles i have read on dcom and rpc problems and one of the
reccomeded solutions is to R&R tcp/ip and reinstall. of course i am like
everybody else, i would like to click a button or go to a higher power and
