Outlook 2003 and .pst file size.

Hi all,

My .pst file has reached 1.7mb and this is a pain when I take my .pst file
with me on the road. Having to transfer 1.7Gb just takes to long. So i
decided to go through all my old emails and have a clean up.

I deleted heaps of stuff and then deleted it all out of the deleted items
folder but the .pst file size is still 1.7Gb. Why?

Because after you remove a bunch of items, you need to run a compact.
(Right click on Outlook Today/Personal Folders and select properties.
Select Advanced. Select Compact now and be prepared to wait a while if you
remove a lot of items.)
