Outlook 2002 "unkonwn error" message

My Outlook 2002 has quit sending/receiving email. Puts up this message: "The
message interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists,
restart Outlook." I downloaded the Outlook 2002 Update from MS Knowledge Base
and ran it, but it did not solve the problem. Any ideas would be infinitely
appreciated!

Yes ma'am. I put in the Office CD and did the "repair" option 3 times. When
that didn't work, I totally uninstalled Office, then reinstalled it, then
reinstalled the fix from Microsoft, and rebooted. Still no success.

How about next time you post you TELL use what you have already done. You
may be surprised at how often the attempts at fixing things make them worse.
Reinstalling fixes almost nothing in Outlook.

I am out of ideas on this one.
