Outlook 2002: Inbox Too Large, Can't Delete, Move or Archive Messa

Apparently my Inbox has exceeded the size limit--but when I try to delete or
move a message I get the error message:

"The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, restart Outlook"

needless to say, restarting does not help, nor did running Repair. Nor would
it Archive any messages.

Is my Outlook 2002 now forever unusable? Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks very much.

Thanks Roady, that did the trick. I was able to reduce the size of the pst
file and things are working fine again.

Are you storing to a pst-file or to an Exchange mailbox?
