Outlook 2002 crashes opening folder properties

I am trying to setup the Autoarchive option on my folders. Outlook
will let me access 1 folder. When I try to access
the next folder Outlook crashes.

I have run detect and repair on Outlook 2002 and Inbox repair tool on
the pst.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

It can be any folder. Not limited to just one. The only rhyme or
reason is that it limits you to 1 folder only and crashes everytime
consistently. You can restart Outlook and then open the very folder
that crashed you last time do your thing and the very next folder will
crash you.

I am up to date on all Office and Windows XP patches.

I'd run scanpst.exe against the PST file (I'm presuming you're using a PST
file & not Exchange or you'd have mentioned it... ?) after making a backup
copy of the file, with Outlook closed....

I have archived to shrink the size of the pst. I have compacted the
pst and I have ran scanpst on it and it found no problems.

I do not know of anything else to do, short of scrapping it and
starting from scratch.

It may not be the PST file at all. Can you copy it to another computer &
open it?
Have you tried setting up another mail profile on this computer?
