Problem opening Outlook 2002 data file

After a computer crash I'm trying to open my 40 mb+ Outlook 2002 *.pst file
but this doesn't work out. The data file and folders are visible in the
folder list, but the folders (inbox, sent items, address book, etc) are all
empty. Any idea how to restore this? Thanks

Hello Roady,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I tried to open it the way you describe. No result. - Louis

If the folders are empty when you open the PST, then something you did along
the way either didn't include the information in the original PST or you
damaged the PST and made it useless. The only conceivable recovery is to
purchase a PST recovery tool. Use Google to look for "(office OR pst)
(recovery OR repair)"

You can try Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST Repair software to recover all information from corrupted or damaged .pst file. You can recover your mails, contacts, notes, journals, tasks, and calendar by using http://www.repair-outlook-pst.com/ software. It support to repair pst files larger than 2GB. First you can try demo version to test the utilities and get full version to restore data.
