Outlook 2002 closes prematurely

Outlook closes before the send/receive is completed. Allupdates have been
downloaded from Microsoft. Don't know what to do next.
 
Try detect and repair. If that fails then try a new profile. Also ensure all
3rd party add-ins are disabled.
