outlook 2002 cannot delete email in inbox and drafts

Hi :
I have a laptop with outlook 2002. I all of a sudden cannot delete
inbox e mail or drafts.

The error is "unable to delete e mail. The e mail has already been
deleted or moved. or you may not have access"

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Are you connected to an Exchange Server or using an IMAP mailbox?
