Outlook 2002 and Word 2007

I have upgraded to word 2007 but maintained Outlook 2002. Now the Journal
function does not seem to record the Word files. Can the two programs work
together? Is there a way to work around this?

I note that the offitems.log has disappeared.

You need the same version of word and outlook for journaling to work for
word files.

I was afraid that would be the answer. It's a shame that Microsoft never
quite manage to maintain compatibility between releases.

You need the same version of word and outlook for journaling to work for
word files.
