My outlook messages do not go to the outbox (I do not
have my Outlook configured for immediate delivery) and
they are never deposited into my inbox. When I do
a "send/receive" it cannot be found without Outlook or
Outlook express. This is due to a recent upgrade from
Windows 98 to WindowsXP.

How do you know they get downloaded?

I don't understand "it cannot be found without OL or OE". Of course mail
can't be found without a mail program. Perhaps you meant "it cannot be
found within OL or OE". However, executing Send/Receive in Outlook will
NEVER affect Outlook Express. Neither will executing Send/Receive in
Outlook Express have any effect on Outlook.
