Outlook 2000 Doesn't Seem To Handle Attachments Correctly

I have only recently been having problems attaching files to emails in
Outlook 2000. When inserting files, instead of having icons appear at the
bottom of the message in a separate pane (I don't think my version of Outlook
ever had an attachment bar at the top underneath the Subject bar) the
attached file icons will appear somewhat randomly within the message itself.
I know this is not correct, but could probably deal with it other than it
seems that recipients are suddenly having difficulties receiving or viewing
my attachments as well. I can only assume the two are related. Please
enlighten.

You've changed to Rich Text Format mail somehow....change back to HTML or
plan text.
