Outlook 2000 crashes after opening

I would like to use my MS Outlook instead of Outlook
Express. But when ever I try to set it up like my OL Exp,
it crashes and shuts down. It has done this ever since
day 1. It is part of MS Office 2000. One time I did try
to reinstall the program from my startup disk, but that
didn't work.
