Outlook 2000 Addressbook lookup

I thought I had seen in the past the feature in outlook
that when you are starting to type a persons name, after
a couple of letter it would start autocompleting and if
you mispel it would give you options of possible names in
the addressbook. Anyone knows how I enable that?

Outlook doesn't do auto-complete. It has a feature called auto-resolution.
If you enter part of a name or a nickname then tab out of the field (or hit
Alt-K [Check Names]), Outlook will attempt to resolve the name against your
address book. If it can't it'll red underline it and you can right click on
the name to manually resolve it. Outlook will save the resolution for future
use.

Hi Milly Staples,
but for me its the same way. Okay it will not autocomplete it by itself.
But it will show you (most of the time) the full mail or nick you want to
write. But in the end you are right!!
