Outlook 07 sending email

I have Outlook 07 and have a gmail account in the Outlook program. My gmail
is my default email. Is it possible to make my email send immediately? As it
is currently when I click on send it goes to the outbox and I have to click
on send/receive to make it go. I know I can use the send-receive settings to
tell when to automatically check my mail and send any that was not sent.

(For some reason I accidently posted this in the Office group.)

Verify that Outlook is not placed in Offline mode (File-> Work Offline) and
that you have the option "Send immediately when connected" enabled in;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Setup
