Outllook 2007 crashes when I click on Attach File Icon

Every time I click on the attach file icon, Outlook 2007 hesitates & then
crashes. If forces a restart, but provides no detailed information or event
log information about what is casuing the crash. I read about plug-ins from
AV software, so I completely removed my AVg Free 7.5 and rebooted. I still
have the same problem. Outlook 2007 ranf fine fro about 2 weeks after
install and now suddenly began to crash when using Attach File. I can
drag-n-Grop a file to attach it.

Any ideas?

I am having the same problem, however, I haven't tried drag n drop the file
to the email to attach it.
Everything, was working before.

Hi, it is one bug with avg, if you remove certification of email in avg, the
outlook not crash.

You're behind in your data. The AVG version the OP is using doesn't have
that problem. Nonetheless, it's never necessary to scan email, especially
outgoing mail.

me too...

Client computer is XP SP3 has Office 2007 Enterprise Edition

Everytime he tries to attach a file in Outlook 2007, it freezes;

This has been happening for about 2 weeks; I've tried a lot of things, Creating a new profile for Outlook, ran office repair, Uninstalled office 2007; deleted PST files, I've even tried the AVG, so far nothing works...

The attachment could be from a networked folder, or from the desktop... everytime this happens, it could be a .xls file that's 30KB or a .doc that's 2MB

It's re-creatable in EVERY INSTANCE... I don't know what else to try...

Any suggestions??
