Outline Numbering problems

Hi there,

I am having tremendous trouble with outline Numbering.
I am trying to create the following order.
A
A.1
A.1.1
A.1.1.1
B
B.1
B.11 and so on.
I have created a syle for each level, i.e. Level 1, Level 2, Level 3.
However my list is fine for section A, however when it starts at B it reads
as:
B
A.1
A.1.1
How do I change this reference to B

PLEASE HELP!
