For several days now, when I download my newsgroups, they
download but nothing appears. All my settings are correct.
I've tried deselecting/reselecting to no avail. Help,
please.

Yeah, that happens sometimes. It could be a problem on your ISP's end. Try
contacting your ISP. In the meanwhile, there are other ways to follow the
newsgroups, e.g. Google News.
