Outgoing mail

Any mail that I try to send out of my Windows Mail account gets
"hung up" in my Outbox and will not go anywhere. There is one message that
got stuck in there and now the program won't even let me delete it.
I am able to receive messages. I tried going back through old posts and
suggestions but they haven't worked and I think it's because they were geared
to Outlook Express. I have disabled my Trend Micro Firewall and I am just
using the Windows Firewall. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Try this Microsoft fix:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

That page offers two download options. Unless you know for sure
you have 64-bit Vista, use the 32-bit option.
