when i try to send outgoing mail, the follow appears

The host 'vista' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the
server name correctly.
Subject 'Springers Wholesale', Account: 'imap', Server: 'vista', Protocol:
SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

you haven't configured Windows Mail correctly..
"vista" is not your outgoing mail server name.

please check your email provider website for the proper server names.

Hi im also having this error message pop up What do u mean by my e-mail
server ?

does that mean my server is whatever my e-mail is ???

An email server is a program running on a (Usually) remote machine that
either receives or delivers your email. There are thousands of them,
just like local post offices.

Usually your ISP provides your email functionality, so if your ISP is
Comcast the mail server will be called mail.comcast.com or something
similar. The last part of your email address, the bit after the @ sign
is a clue, but NEVER post your real email here as it will get stolen,
only the last bit or mention who the ISP is.

You receive all of your email messages from a server.
What is the part of your email address following the @ sign?
for example, one of mine is Roadrunner.com
Therefore I have to go to Roadrunner's email help on their website to find
out what the server names are that I should use.
