Oulook 2003 - can no longer click on email links

After updating my Outlook 2003 via Office Update, my incoming emails
with links don't work - I can't click the links. It looks as though my
incoming emails are being converted to plain text.

How did this happen, and how can I fix it. I feel I have enough
protections on my system already and don't mind clickable links in my
email.

If they're in the Junk Mail folder you can't do much about it. Move the item
out of that folder to operate on it. You can turn the phishing filter off
for non Junk Mail folders in the settings for the Junk filter

Tools, Options, Preferences Tab, Junk Mail button, and uncheck the last
item - that's what you're talking about, yes?
