When I click on 'Open | Other users Mailbox' I see a list of users on the
system. However, the user I want (let's say Bill) is not shown.

If I look in ADUC I can see Bill as a user. He has an e-mail address and
appears to be set up as per any other user.

I've also looked iat the mailboxes in Exchange Manager and Bill is there
with 435 items.

Any ideas as to why I can't see Bill?

Did you try just typing in Bill's name or alias and letting Outlook resolve
it to the Exchange GAL?

Sue,

Yes I did - but get the message 'Outlook does not recognize "Bill"

Then either Bill isn't in the GAL after all or there's more than one Bill,
in which case you can try his alias. Also check to make sure the GAL is in
your name resolution order -- Tools | Address Book, then Tools | Options.

I have now found the answer. If you look at the users properties through ADUC
you get an ' Exchabged Advanced' screen which has a 'Hide from Exchange
address lists' tickbox, which was ticked. This tab does not appear when you
look at the properties of a user through the Small Business Server
administrator console.

Thanks for your replies

Mike
