Other than Maping a Network drive - is there a better solution?

[North Coast Sea Foods]

WANT TO RESTRICT ACCESS TO A FOLDER.

I WANT TO ALLOW ONLY TWO USERS (one Local and the other on the network)
ACCESS TO A SPECIAL FOLDER.

MY PROBLEM IS THAT I DO NOT SEE AN ANSWER, OTHER THAN MAPPING A DRIVE OVER
THE NETWORK.

ONE USER IS ON THE DOMAIN AND THE OTHER USER IS IN A WORKGROUP - BOTH THE
SAME LAN.

I HAVE SET UP THE FOLDER AS A SHARE AND KNOW I CAN ACCESS IT AS A MAPPED
DRIVE, USING THE OWNERS LOGON.

IS THERE ANOTHE WAY??
