Other person is using my sound card.

I tried using everything to hear the sound but i cant. its nothing wrong
with the speakers. it keeps saying the sound card is already in use but
there are no programs running.how would i get my sound card back or get
another one downloaded.

If all is connected properly,open device mgr,scroll to sounds,expand the
tree,R.click on the sound hardware,select,uninstall,do this for all related
to youre card,after,close out,shut down computer.From there,one can,move
the card to another pci slot,or after .30 sec,start computer,xp will
reinstall
the card.
