Took your advice and read the force ASPI material on Radified.com.
Rolled the aspi layer back from 4.712 to 4.60. Everything's running
beautifully now. Just goes to show the latest isn't always the best.

4.71 aspi has been problematic on some machines. Use ForceASPI to install
the excellent, trouble-free v4.60.
