Burn CD's with Windows Media Player

Hello everyone. I have been experiencing a problem when it comes to making a
copy of one of my cds. I have used WMP for a long time until it started to
act up a couple weeks ago. It allows me to rip songs from cds and play songs
from cds, but copying them is a hassle. For some reason I dont think the
computer is recognizing the blank media in the drive. I just bought new cds
Fridays. I thought maybe my old cds were a bad batch. It would be literally
impossilbe for me to get stuck with 2 bad batches of cds. I am also able to
write files to a cd (i.e. word files etc) but not burn a music cd. I got
another program (acoustica mp3) and that is also having difficulties burning
a cd. Can anyone help me? Has anyone had this problem? Right now anything
would be a help. Thanks a bunch.
