OT - but Yahoo Mail log-in now 'remembered'

From a day or so ago we have noticed that FF 3.6 (XP, Vista and W7 PCs) here
is now prompting to 'remember' Yahoo Mail log-ins.
We thought Yahoo Mail (as well as Hotmail) log-ins are not 'rememberable'.
But we found that IE (6, 7 as well as 8) also now offers to remember Yahoo
Mail passwords.
Does anyone know what's going on?
Or do we have tracking virii on out machines here?
Regards and thanks in anticipation.

I can only say that your machine is offering to remember yahoo mail
passwords. This facility has been around since yahoo was formed. If
you are using public machines then you can change the such offering in
preferences but since I don't know what exactly you want, I await for
your next postings.

Please also note that "David H. Lipman" <[email protected]>
doesn't like people using the word virii. The word to use in these
newsgroups is viruses. Pig-Bear has ruled on this and if you use any
other word, or you correct an MVP, then you will be branded a TROLL.

Hope this lecture has helped.
