I've been using Oscar's for years and every once in a while take
another look through it, but I'm pretty certain Oscar's doesn't do
folder renames. But thought I'd ask here since so many are more
knowledgeable than I am.
I've looked at other renamers and they just don't compare to Oscar's
in their ease-of-use and efficient file naming abilities. It would be
so neat to find a way to rename folders that is based on the same type
of idea - we make typing corrections on an interface that looks/feels
like a text editor.
Folders have been and continue to be a problem, though. All renamers,
though, seem to need one to do search/replace type of things via boxes
rather than allowing direct typing to the filename itself and then
applying changes (as Oscar's does). Also, Oscar's handy macro feature
can't be beat.
Just thought I'd throw this out there for the group. Maybe someone
knows of something Oscar's-like that works with folder names, too.
