My wife is a teacher and I try to help the school when they have PC
problems. The school has MAC PC's running OS 8.1. One of the parents went
out and bought PC software for the school. They ran into problems using the
software. I went to the school and took a look at the problem. I found that
the new software needed the newer release of Internet Explorer. So I
downloaded the software and installed it with no problems. The next problem
they had was it needed flash player. I down loaded flash player and tried to
install the software. The installation failed. It said that the OS had to be
above 8.7 to run flash player. The school does;to have the money to upgrade
all the PC's to OS 8.7. Anyone have any ideas what I can do to get around
the problem.

Your help is appreciated,

Rick

Hi Rick,

This newsgroup is dedicated to Microsoft Access, the database software that is a part of Office
Professional. I suggest posting your message on a newsgroup related to MAC's.
