Ordering Thunderbird's newsgroups?

How do I order the newsgroups in Thunderbird? When adding a new group,
it goes to the bottom of the list, not in alphabetical order as I would
like it to. Thanks,

Have you tried asking in a Mozilla newsgroup also?

Open and edit your news.rc file and with notepad
Thunderbird\Profiles\default\xxxxx.slt\news.rc
