Opens Another New Window

In my MS Word 98, when I selected a template, it would open in the MS Word
window already open. In my MS Word 2002, when I select a template, it opens a
new MS Word window and opens the selected template in that new window, now 2
MS Word windows are open. Is this how it is sposed to work? Can it be
configured to open in the current window? All ideas, suggestions, and
comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, K.

In Word 2002 or 2003, click on Tools | Options | View tab | uncheck the
"Windows in Taskbar" box | OK.
