Opening multiple browsers

I am having difficulty opening multiple browsers. Every time I try to open a
new ie instance, it reloads into the instance already open.

I tried enabling and disabling the reuse windows for launching shortcuts,
but it didn't affect the issue at all.

Hi,
You probably have a program running which is blocking pop-up windows-
something like Yahoo Companion, Google toolbar, MSN toolbar, a firewall,
Earthlink (or another pop-up blocker) My IE2 (a shell for IE) etc.
Yahoo Companion is a very common cause.

You'll have to turn off the feature that's blocking new windows or, perhaps,
uninstall the program.

With some programs of this type, using Ctrl+click or Shift+click will allow
a new window.

If you're *sure* that another program isn't causing this, these links may

Still not working, tried all the different solutions, got frustrated that I
actually have to do this and installed mozilla. It works perfectly, blocks
popups and is allowing me to open multiple browsers.

If you have a simple solution, or a way to revert back to the older version
of IE which worked fine, please let me know.
