opening links on web pages

B

Brad Hubbard

I cannot open links on some web pages. The link acts like
it is going to open and then never does.

I use Internet Explorer 6.0 with updates SP1 and Q828750.

Thanks for your help.

Nothing you can really do about that. Its whats
called "server-side" in other words, the website is where
the problem is. THeir either busy, or experiancing
technical troubles. Try the site again later.

I can open that same link using a Netscape browser. It is
not server-side. I don't want to have to use Netscape.

the solution please email me and I will do the same...

Internet Explorer "New Window" & Script error problems

1. Click [Start] [Run] type:
(Press Enter after each command)
Regsvr32 /i URLMON.DLL
Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
Regsvr32 shdocvw.dll

2. Restart Windows
3. Open IE [Tools] [nternet Options] [Programs] [Reset Web Settings]

If this does not help, run this fix: Based on MSKB article:
http://mvps.org/sramesh2k/utils/IEFix.exe
