Opening browser windows with "Open in New Window" command

Everytime I right click on a link and select "Open Link in
New Window", the window I get is as small as it could
possibly be and I have to hit the maximize button just to
see the contents.
Does anyone know how to restore the command to open the
new browser windows already maximized?

Chris,
Stretch that small second window out to full size- don't use maximize.
Close the first (parent) window, then close that second window.
