Open Programs Disappear Behind other Open Programs

I'm not sure how to explain this and therefore checking MS Knowledge Base
hasn't been much help. The problem is that I will have a program open;eg,
Outlook and then open another one;eg, Word. I'll begin to use Word and it
will just disappear from the display. If I minimize Outlook, Word will still
be open behind Outlook. For example, it just happened now. I was typing
this question and the Community Newsgroups window suddenly appeared. when I
minimized it, this "New Question" window was still open. I have no clue
where to start to fix this problem. I am using two displays and an NVIDIA
GeForce FX 5200 Ultra video card, but the problem only started within the
past few weeks and I've had the two monitors and the same display card for
over a year. Suggestions on where to start?????

losing focus is probably a driver issue with two different pointing devices.

Thank you for suggesting the probable issue, but I have no idea what you're
talking about or how to go about resolving the problem if this is the
problem. By pointing devices, I assume you mean a mouse and something else
lile another mouse? I do have a Wacom tablet with a wireless mouse, but I've
had it for over 2 years and haven't had any problems or made any changes. Is
there some way of asking this question in the Microsoft Knowledge Base where
I might get some reasonable replies. I'm not sure how to "word" what is
