Open program opens windows installer

Every time I open microsofts spyware detection program
and also Alurias spyware protection program. The Windows
installer opens and tries to install Quickbooks which is
already installed on my computer. Has anyone else had
this problem or can anyone point me in the right
direction to correct it. Thanks in advance for any help
you can provide.

Aluria is a suspect program associated with adware. You might want to get
rid of it.
