open new window ONLY pressing shift? why?

IE 6 is opening new windows from .swf embedded files only if I press
shift...
it's like something is stopping the pop up windows...

I have google bar but don't think is the guilty... any clue?

The google bar has a pop up stopper which may be causing the problem. If you
have any other type of pop up stopper installed, the same is true.

When you click on a link on a web site, its code may ask for a new window to
be opened. This may be interpreted by the pop up stopper as an advert being
opened

In order to override this behaviour, you have to hold the Shift key. I think
this may be what is happening to you.
