open dialog box, file search function

Hello List,

In Word , when in the open file dialog box, if you type a key word that you
knew is contained in the name of a file you want to open and hit enter, Word
would display only the files and folders that match the key word (doesn't
matter if its at the beginning end or middle). I have upgraded to Word XP
(2002) and this feature no longer works. I have another system that has Word
2003 and this feature works fine. I cannot upgrade this particular machine
to Office 2003 for compatibility reasons with SalesLogix and I would rather
not go back to Office 2000.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for solution to this problem - this has been driving me mad since I upgraded to XP
