Open Dialog Box

Hi, when I go to open up a word document, I open word, and then click on
open. This then brings up the open dialog box, however, it always opens up
in the middle of my files. Is there a way I can reset this so that it opens
at the beginning of my files? Thanks!
 
It automatically searches for the first file containing a doc extension after
the root name, that's why you're not at the top of the directory.
