open a custom form from the PC

Hi,

I'm new in form so sorry if the questoin seems stupid. I have created a
custom message form (OLK 2003) that has some VB script code attached to it.
The fom is saved on my harddisk (I guess oft extension). the problem is that
:
- When I double-click on the form from the hardisk it opens fine; but the VB
script does not run and the form cannot be send. However, if I publish the
form to our organizational form library and run it from there, it runs just
fine. Any idea , Do the forms need to be published ?
- and When I double-click on the form it opens ok, but I have my signature
on it and other people sees it. How can i get rid of this signature ?

You've already answered your own question. Code doesn't run in unpublished forms, which is what an .oft file is. Publishing to Org Forms is the right solution.

You didn't mention your build number of Outlook 2003, but I suspect the information at http://www.outlookcode.com/d/ol2003problems.htm#sp1 will help with the signature.
