Only The Best

Sadly and extremely annoyingly, the spyware has been
defeated by "Only the Best" This continually tries to
change the start page to blank, gives an extra pop-up
search showing porn sites and adverts for other anti-
spyware software and keeps popping-up ad windows entitled
only the best. Is Microsoft already working to defeat
this? I've looked on the web and it has been defeated by
many people but the instructions on how to do so are very
complicated and several pages long and I am very nervous
to carry these out - not sure it is within my capabilities!
There is an extra program installed called "Search
Extender" which it will not allow me to uninstall. Please
help asap it's driving me nuts!

An update several tedious frustrating hours later! Spybot
found more spyware but didn't cure it, adaware seems to
have cracked it - with the help of hijackthis and the
advice found in the forum
www.computing.net/security/wwwboard/forum/12346.html.
I'll keep trying with this Microsoft product but won't be
buying it unless it proves as good or better than the
freeware software already out there.

This product will be free for home users.

For spyware you will need redundant products. Do you
think that MS can cure everything ?
