Only Saves to DV-AVI

Maybe a lil help:
I can only save to DV-AVI.....and get the infamous error (cannot
save....check source files, etc), even with a 10 sec video. I'm just
confused and have read many, many posts. However I can save a DV-AVI 45
minute video with no problems.

Just want to save some short videos for email or posting on my website.

System: Windows Media Center

I'll wait with you for someone to know the answer to your problem which is
exactly the same as mine.

I've tried every single possible solution that was mentioned either here or
on PapaJohn's already worldfamous solution page but to no avail.

At first I could do anything with WMM2 and then suddenly the saving trouble
began and I can only save - like you - to DV-AVI.

Did you by any chance install a Pinnacle product on your computer? Because
that's the only action I took I can think of that might have anything to do
with this problem.

But I don't want to uninstall Pinnacle Studio 10 Plus as it was a drag
installing it and making it work and I'm kind of used to using it now.

But I sure would like to see WMM2 work again too...

Hi Bert, I'm currently not running any Pinnacle products. Sorry. I'm kinda
surprised how long it takes for a response. Still Waiting.
