Only boots into safe mode

My computer will not start normally but boots into safe mode.
When it is finished loading up, the Desktop and start button appear to be
frozen. Clicking on the start button does nothing and i need to restart
Anybody got any ideas ?
 
Are you running a Firewall and current AVP? Have you installed any new applications,
Service Packs, or Hotpatches recently? Have you installed any new hardware lately?

Hi,

If it runs in SafeMode but not in regular mode then it is a driver or
a service that is freezing the machine. I would check the event logs
and see. The issues are usually listed there.
