Only 2 speakers working (Cambridge 4 speakers system)

I have Cambridge 4 speakers system and only 2 of them is
working. The other two don't give music but just the
sound of motor running or something like that. I checked
in CtrlPanal for sound and it says 'Desktop sterio
speakers' with the image of 2 speakers. When I changed it
to 'Surround sound speakers (the image has 4 speakers),
still no music on 2 of them and even the sound decrese in
the other 2 speakers. Where else can I change the
settings? The ones not working are Rear (Right + Left).
Any help would be appreciated

Answered in the general group. Please don't multi-post.

Who the blazes are you the posting cop? Cross posting is often an effective way of reaching different groups of readers in an NG environment. Some will read the new users posts while others won't but will read the basics NG. While I don't agree with posting to each and every group, until someone becomes familiar with just where they can get the best responses, tolerance should be the order of the day. {:~)

I suggest you learn Usenet terminology before you go shouting your mouth
off. There is a very clear and distinct difference between 'cross-posting'
and 'multi-posting'.

Cross-posting - posting to multiple groups /by entering the names in the
newsgroups field/

Multi-posting - posting to multiple groups /WITHOUT/ entering the names in
the newsgroups field.

The original poster did the latter which is frowned on because it posts the
same message multiple times to multiple groups. The latter posts the message
once, but it shows up in multiple groups.

Cross-posting is also frowned on if the poster posts to more than 3 or 4
groups.

Learn the difference.
