My computer speakers suddenly stopped working... I replaced them with new
ones, but that did not help. Someone told me to check the sound card
drivers?... don't know how to do that. Please help.

So you cannot find your previous post?

Obviously not, along with an inability to cross-post to RELATED
newsgroups or to groups where his post would be ON-TOPIC. Starting to
look like another troll.

First, check to see if they are plugged in properly. Kids, cats and
dogs do things to computers. I had a speaker problem a couple of
computers ago. It turned out that I didn't have both of the chords I
needed, but I was absolutely clueless.

To get new drivers, just type in the speaker manufacturer and "driver"
as a search term into google or whatever you use.

Looks like another "IDtenT" (write it and see).
Check your Volume Control, probably has the Sound Muted.

Hello, Do you have a pair of headphones handy? If so try plugging them in to
see if it is your speakers or not. Also you can do this :

Right Click My Computer -> Manage -> Device Manger -> Sound, Video And Game
Controllers -> Then See If There Is A Yellow Circle And A ! With It Next To
Any Of Them. If So Reply To This Post And I Will Help You Further.

Thanks,
Peter Brown
