online games (yahoo, shockwave)

One day my wife went to yahoo.con (which she does ogten )
and tried to play an online game she has played many
times .....at the site it will give a message that its
loading and then when it's ready it will just show a
blank white window with a red X in the upper left corner.
please help

Hello,

Yahoo games are JAVA not Shockwave. That red X is
telling you a) you dont have shockwave installed or b) it
corrupted. You have 2 choices goto http://java.sun.com
and grab their java Or seeing how MS pulled Virtual
Machine from Windows XP SP1a :-((( Youd have to get it
elsewhere besides MS. Here is a link to downloading it.
Note: Virtual Machine current build is 3810. but 3810
will not install on windows xp UNLESS an older version
was installed first. So what I did was grabbed 3805
installed that, them installed 3810.

Sorry cant sleep its late :-) I ment a) you dont have
java installed.. sorry for saying shockwave :-)
