one more permissions questions

I need to make a subweb accessible by just a password no matter who logs
into it... Thomas A. Rowe suggested: Using FP subweb permissions, you could
preset the User ID by setting the initial value of the form field, then the
user would only need to enter the password... but I can't quite figure out
what he's talking about and the support staff at my hosting company doesn't
seem to either. I can't see any way to alter subweb permissions to
automatically input the username... is this something that has to be done at
the host or am I just missing something somewhere?

Sorry, my suggestion will not work since the login dialog is generated by the server.

Thanks for all the help!.... I'm just going to use the same word in username
and password and be done with it.
