One computer in network cannot share files

Hi! I used to have 4 computers in my network, and all were able to share
files and printer correctly. after someone played with my laptop, i am no
longer able to share files or printers with the other 3 computers in my
network. I cannot see the computers in my network places, but every time i
run the network wizard, it says that i have successfully added my computer to
the network. I am out of ideas as to how i could undo the damage (i cannot
restore my computer to another date because i do not have a restore point
prior to the damage) Could someone help me??? below are the details that i

We may have a coup issues that may cause the issue.

1.The node type is mixed.
2. DNS is ISP DNS.
3. The NetBIOS over TCP/IP is disable.

I would try ti enable the NetBIOS first. Or these links may help,

NetBIOS and WINSIf you can ping a remote computer IP but not the name, and you have WINS or enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP, this may be an outdated NetBIOS name resolution in ...
