Real Name:

Hi,

I ran an XT for YEARS, and had
literally NO trouble with it.
Light bulbs gave me more
trouble, than my computer.
I upgraded several times, with
AT's, and still no trouble.

Along came the internet, and
even with a fee for service
AV/firewall application, and a fee
for service anti-spyware
application, I can't keep it running
without frequent, to occasional,
re-installs.

Normally I blame the
government, for all the wrongs of
the world, but except for providing
"back doors" for the hackers to use,
which may be microsoft's own
spyware, this is simply an orphan
war.

Service pack two, did make a
real difference; but the only way
to make a computer as reliable as it
was before the internet, is to make
it invulnerable to the internet.

That can never happen, so long
as ANYONE - can mandate a single
"back door", for any purpose.

Microsoft is responsible, and
the government, for every loss -
when the operating system has to be
re-installed; because they
intentionally put access into the
OS, that anyone with a computer can
eventually discover - and once they
do that, every friend of that
hacker, will have total access to
every MS/computer, connected to the
internet.

The faceless "stockholder".

Maybe it is time for you to try a MAC computer. Bill Gates may not
like you, but who cares.
