Continuous disconnects.

Hi,

I have it set to auto-reconnect,
but I'm getting disconnects so
frequently, that web pages are hard to
load, and getting my email is done over
several re-connections.

I'm running a fee for service AV
provider, a fee for service
anti-spyware service, and this makes me
think, that Windows is STILL being
tinkered with, by malicious minds.

I've uninstalled the modem
driver, and re-installed it.
I've run virus, and spyware
checks, till I'm PO'd at the entire
"industry".

My ISP has been around for a long
time, and they're more reliable than
Windows; this is in my computer.

Suggestions ?

Ken .

So yuo think it's windows fault that yuo are getting disconnected?

HAve yuo at least had yuor phone company check yuor line for interference?
More than likely it is the phone line or the ISP!!

Hi,

I've been computing, since the
late sixties; and I've a few tricks of
my own, to at-least eliminate a few
sources.

I have thought of a poor
connection; and I haven't totally
ruled it out, but I have good reason to
suspect software meddling.

Thanks,
Ken .
