-> OL2007: anyway to have only 1 name column in emails? <-

Hi,

I recently moved from Calypso/Courier to Outlook 2007 and I want to
know if there is a way to have a "name" column in the email folders.

By "name" column, I mean a column where you have the "To:" name for
sent messages, and the "From:" name for received messages.

Actually, if you display the "From" column, you have your own name
for all sent messages.
So for now, I display two columns, next to each others, the From and
the To. But I don't like this and it's space consuming.

I know I am the one who sent the messages, and I know that the
received messages were addressed to me. What is interesting is to know
the party you were comunicating with not "myself". This info only.

For example, I display:
From To
Steve John Doe (sent message)
Bill Steve (received message)

and I would like only one column like this:
Name
John Doe (sent message)
Bill (received message)

Is this possible?

Thanks for any help

Sincerely,
Steve JORDI

So, what you want is the current functionality (i.e., Sent Items showing the
recipient, and other mail folders showing the sender), but using the same
name for both columns, correct? Not possible, as far as I know. I don't
think you can change the names of the columns.

Ok then,
well, I'll go with From and To next to each other.

Thanks
